Build-A-Blend Event at Page Springs

admin

Last weekend, Matt and I headed up to Cottonwood to pick up a couple of our wine shipments at Pillsbury and Arizona Stronghold. The weather was beautiful, and most of the shops were open. Here are a few pictures from our quick trip.

This awesome sign was hanging in the Stronghold tasting room. I want one!

We played some Cards Against Humanity at the Pillsbury Tasting Room.

And then we headed up to Page Springs Cellars for the annual Build-A-Blend event.

Here is a picture of Matt’s blending sheet… He was trying very hard to be adventurous. Some of the blends were pretty awesome, and others were…. less than stellar.

The event had a great turnout, and everyone had a lot of fun.

At the end of the event they had a raffle for some wines from Eric Glomski’s personal cellar. We didn’t win….

Afterwards, we walked the beautiful grounds for a while, and even played a bit of chess. 🙂

Page Springs and Cottonwood are always a fantastic daytrip from Phoenix, or you can head up to Sedona afterwards and plan an overnight. Jerome is also very close!

Don’t wait until the weather gets too warm!
